It all started with me visiting the new shop, anagram space, born from the staalplaat shop. It was cosy and small and it reminded me in everything of the zero years in Berlin. Adeline, the shop owner was beaming with joy. When I left, she gave me a box full of used tapes. There would be more in the future.
And behold, the future was near.

I am a sucker for used tapes. I will always find use for them. When I went to pick up the second box of tapes I told Adeline of my plan, a series of Berlin based artists. It would not be about my taste, but about Berlin and its diversity and the fact that the city welcomes everyone. That would be the idea of this series.
I have no idea how many tapes are in Adeline’s secret place, nor do I have an idea of how many people want to have their sounds on these tapes.

I keep you posted.
